Red Sea Star Underwater Restaurant
As the name suggests, this restaurant is situated five meters under the Red Sea. It was built in 1996, with the materials imported from Israel. With its thick transparent windows, diners can enjoy a variety of cuisines while watching a different sea creatures swim and dart around. Fantastic beds of corals can be observed as well, giving more life and aesthetic to the restaurant’s view.
The interior of the restaurant is inspired by its exterior surrounding. The dining hall is themed to look like an extension of the outside. For example, the sand flooring covered by clear epoxy, the jellyfish stools and chairs with cushions of starfishes and other marine life give the restaurant an authentic under water feel. The lighting of the restaurant is extraordinarily beautiful. The lighting fixtures look like those glowing jellyfishes hanged upside down. It makes use of soft light that complements the whole underwater atmosphere of the place. It is very spacious and can seat up to a little more than a hundred, unlike other underwater restaurants.

Ithaa Undersea Restaurant
The Ithaa Undersea Restaurant is a world-class dining hall located at Maldives Rangali Island. It is submerged 16 feet below the surface of the Indian Ocean. Because it is made entirely of glass, diners can enjoy the fantastic 180 degrees view of the water world while feasting on their favorite cuisines. Diners will find excitement, as they are surrounded by exotic marine life while dining.
